All of this is totally out of my comfort zone, so I have much to learn. I am not interested in making money, but rather in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and how wonderful God is. I'll now have to learn about Pintrest. I have a website, but very little traffic, so I want to move into blogging. What you shared was helpful. Thank you. P.S. I was born in Seattle, am a retired pastor, Bible college teacher and academic dean, and missionary, served in Sierra Leone, West Africa and the Philippines.

Enjoyed your video and enthusiasm as well as tips…I hear / read from several sources that content and quality are important, and totally understand that. I appreciate that you say set a schedule and post as frequently as you can. I have been following a established couple blogs and they have posts every day–the thought of this wears me out! Think I could do three a week to start and as I grow my audience and hopefully connect with contributors, grow the number of posts…Thank you for your video, it is helping me with planning.

I often ask myself, "What would I do if I absolutely knew I could not fail?" Well blogging is on that list of things! Fear of failing is what's stopping me! But your words of wisdom have encouraged me.I going to pray about it and hopefully persevere as you have. Thanks so much

Great video Alex! You really speak my language. I'm a 48 year old husband and dad looking to start my first blog. One year ago I committed to trying to sell on Amazon, and I swore I would spend the entire year putting it together. A little bit here, a little bit there, but I NEVER gave up. I would take a break, get dis-heartened, and then climb back on. One year later I have a product that sells and I know SO MUCH about it now. Yes I will expand eventually, but blogging is my 2019 project. I will start a blog and I have NO friggin idea what I'm doing. But I will give it a year. Do a little bit here, watch videos, learn and just stay the course for a full year. I will come back for more videos and I wish you HUGE success! Thanks again.

P. S. I've lived in Austin/Round Rock for several years. I miss all the fun things to do and see there, but I do NOT miss the traffic. Ha! I currently live in Abilene, TX. 😴😉
