So I’ve teased this upcoming event a few times in the past. On January 3, 2019 at 11:00am Central Time I’m going to be having on the channel for an interview a buddy of mine who’s a copywriter, making thousands of Dollars writing web pages, sales letters, and various forms of copy for brands and businesses.

What’s kind cool about my buddy who you’ll be meeting in this interview is I actually met him through this YouTube Channel, we worked out at the same gym and he recognized me from YouTube.

We struck up a friendship and began meeting up for drinks every few weeks. I watched first hand as he went through the journey of getting interested in copywriting, studying copywriting and practicing copywriting to now doing it for a living and essentially working for himself living on his own terms. It was really cool to watch him kind of achieve this dream right in front of my eyes.

I think copywriting is a cool skillset in that in some ways it’s something anyone is capable of doing. Don’t get me wrong, by no means am I saying its easy, but it’s a skill-set anyone can sit down and practice. With coding or programming you can’t exactly sit down and just start doing it, however with writing any one of you can open a word document or open a notebook and start practicing your craft if this is something you want to do for a full-time living.
